Members of VHIO’s Running for Research – R4R*, will once again join fantastic friends and supporters of the FERO Foundation to crowdfund for essential research aimed at improving outcomes for patients suffering from cancer.
More specifically, VHIO and FERO’s dedicated runners will be participating in the 41st Zurich Marató Barcelona on Sunday 10th March to secure funds for molecular diagnostics at VHIO. Money raised will further fuel this pioneering program and contribute to extending the more precise characterization of individual tumors and matching of anti-cancer therapies to an increasing number of patients. Daniel Massó, Research Scientist at VHIO’s spin-off company Peptomyc S.L. and Co-Founder of our R4R, and fellow runner Reinier Peñarroche, Coordinator of our Laboratory Equipment Maintenance at VHIO, will be running alongside FERO’s equally determined participants, and the team seek to meet their target of 10.000 EUR in crowdfunding as the gear up to the big event.
