Strategic Goals

  3. Collaboration with International Groups for translational research within the context of EUFP7 and/or IMI calls but also in other settings
  4. Collaboration with the Proteomics, Genomics, Tumor Stem Cells and Circulating Tumor Cells Groups at VHIO

Current objectives

  • Development of strategies to identify populations of patients
  • Preclinical and clinical development of new drugs targeting different cancer properties.
  • Identification of Molecular Markers in Gastrointestinal Malignancies
  • Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) and Circulant DNA (cDNA) specimens to develop prognostic and predictive biomarkers, with special emphasis to filtration collection techniques.
