In his annual Foreword editorial our Director, Josep Tabernero, suggests that rather than a concept or figure, it depicts a virtuous cycle of knowledge; the seamless and unrestricted flow of discovery in oncology from the bench to the bedside and back, for which VHIO is particularly famed.
This is certainly illustrated by the pages that follow, with myriad translational research advances, contributions and developments that have been driven by VHIO talents and teams in 2018.
